Telecom Mounting Stakes
The CMS1 Telecom Mounting stakes are designed to be used with all types of pedestals. These stakes offer extra rigidity to the cabinets and help keep them in vertical alignment. The telecom mounting stakes are available in various lengths, and come with either our standard gray-green color or in non-painted for added grounding benefits. The metal components are made of rugged 13 gauge mill galvanized steel with powdercoat paint finish meeting ASTM 525 and ASTM 526 standards.
Application
These stakes are designed to mount telephone service enclosures.

This device is used for installation of all CMS1 type mounting stakes. |
The CMS1-PD1 is a unique accessory designed to aid the craftspeople in the installation of mounting stakes. The large circular head provides a target for the sledge hammer which is easy to hit. This device is constructed of hot rolled steel with a 3/8” plat on top to absorb the blow. By using this device, the craftsperson has less chance of being struck by a flying splinter which may develop if the handle of the sledge hammer strikes the top of a standard stake. Stakes which have been installed with this device will not have the paint finish damaged by driving the stake directly, resulting in longer life of the stake, and no rust to develop where the finish has been damaged and bare metal exposed.
