Utility Enclosure
This box is wall mounted using two slotted heavy gauge mounting tabs on the bottom and two on the top. It is made of 14 gauge galvanized steel with a powder coat finish. The reinforced hinged lid is locked with a pad-lockable swing handle 3-point latch and comes standard with a door stop arm. This is a fully enclosed box with cable entrance knockouts on the bottom. It is also constructed to NEMA 3R specifications. It also includes a 3/4” plywood backboard and a four gang GFCI receptacle inside.
Common Uses: This is typically an exterior distribution box that can be used for communication hubs with telephone, computer, cable television and/or alarm system applications.
